SAZKA
From scratchcards to solid seats
Upcycled. Modular. Made from discarded lottery tickets. The latest addition to Sazka’s reLosy platform takes a material never meant to last and gives it a second life. In collaboration with designer Filip Krampla, we created a minimalist, durable seating system made from upcycled scratchcards. Designed for outdoor use, the installation now lives in Hodonín’s park — a public space thoughtfully revived after a devastating tornado.

This isn’t just upcycling, it’s redefining what waste can become.
The challenge? Transform a fragile, throwaway material into something solid and lasting. The result? A modular, interlocking system that adapts to various public settings — from festivals to city parks. It’s flexible, bold in form, and doesn’t hide its origin: the lottery tickets remain visible, telling a story of renewal and transformation.
