Steve Aoki Circular Jacket
For the global launch of the IQOS × Steve Aoki collaboration, IMMINENT developed the entire recycling concept behind the limited-edition jacket and brought it to life from the ground up. We came up with the idea of transforming used IQOS consumables into a functional material for fashion production and, together with Lavaris, developed the full recycling process from scratch. This included exploring how the collected material could be separated, processed, tested, and transformed into a high-quality insulation suitable for a premium jacket. IMMINENT led the project across innovation, product development, sourcing, manufacturing, and production management, coordinating all partners and ensuring that the concept could work not only creatively, but also technically and at scale. The final jacket contained insulation made from recycled cellulose acetate sourced from more than 1,000 used IQOS consumables, with the recycled material accounting for 77% of the filling. The result was a limited edition of 1,000 individually numbered jackets, proving that a completely new circular solution can be developed from an initial idea into a real, premium consumer product.
MATERIAL
In collaboration with our partner, we developed the world's first filling material made from recycled tobacco sticks. The innovative process took over six months, and each jacket contains more than 1,000 recycled tobacco sticks.

DESIGN
The Recycled Jacket was created in collaboration with globally renowned DJ, music producer, and style icon Steve Aoki, alongside Prague-based Seabrook Studio. Its layered design honors Aoki’s Japanese heritage, featuring a vibrant turquoise lining contrasted by a sleek, waterproof outer shell. Limited to 1,000 hand-numbered pieces, each jacket showcases Aoki’s signature glow-in-the-dark logo on the chest and includes a custom pocket tailored to hold an IQOS device.
